بر اساس گزارش کالاخبر، رئیس انجمن ملی صنایع پلیمر ایران اعلام کرد که با همت فعالان صنعت پتروشیمی، تولید و عرضه محصولات پتروشیمی رو به افزایش است و هم اکنون عرضه‌ها در بورس کالا به بیش از ۷۶ درصد رسیده است. به گفته وی، در کلیت بازار کمبودی وجود ندارد و کسری فقط به سه گروه خاص PET، PVC و پلی‌پروپیلن (PP) مربوط می‌شود.برای جبران این کمبودها، کمیته تنظیم بازار پتروشیمی واردات این سه محصول را آزاد کرده و در نتیجه، بازار به آرامش نسبی دست یافته است.ترکمان دهنوی در توضیح دلایل افزایش قیمت‌ها گفت: «قیمت جهانی محصولات پتروشیمی در جنگ رمضان افزایش یافت و از سوی دیگر ناچار به حمل ریلی این محصولات هستیم که خود بر قیمت تأثیر گذاشته است.»وی همچنین بر لزوم سرعت در تصمیم‌گیری و مشورت مستمر با بخش خصوصی برای تسریع در بازیابی تولید و تجارت پس از جنگ تأکید کرد.
